I bought a hood from them 6 weeks ago. HOODS4SALE THAT IS ON EBAY!!. I finally got the bodyshop to work on it. It was the california dream ram air hood. Thew bodyshop said the hood is complete junk. They said they couldnt guarantee work. had horrible swirls in it. Way offf in alignment and lines. Sits up way too high too fix. This is a bodyshop that has been in business for years. With a great reputation in my town. Anyway I left them poor feedback as they deserved on ebay. They left me negative back which I expected. They lied though and said I never paid for hood but recieved and dont deel with me.. LOL they make all pay by C.O.D. My feedback was 100% 191 feedback. They are complete liars. Very poor business!! Hey guys I have proof that I paid!! Dont buy from them save your money!!!!

I see you have encountered what I had. I bought the CA Dream Ram Air Hood from hodo4sale and here were my issues:
1) passenger rear corner raised too high to fix;
2) bowed in the center;
3) front end 1/4 inch narrower than rear (misalignment by 1/8 inch on each side);
4) waves on the top of the hood;
5) chipped rear corner;
6) minor cracks around air vents
Needless to say, I have scrapped the hood project. From what I can tell, you can paint carbon fiber hoods. I hear the fit tends to be better especially from Sieben or Vis.
I heard the bad news today. I like the cd style carbon fiber hood by seibon. Very expensive though.
My hood eneded up being junk the couldnt see problems tell they started working on it. They also couldnt see all the ripples in the hood tell the put under flourecent lights. My body shop said that is why they use white gel coat to hide the flaws. He also said fiber glass work wasnt even done right. They are crooks in my opinion.
it doesn't sound like its hoods4sale that is screwing guys...it sounds like rk sport puts out a bad product...its really going to kill me to bolt on a non functional scoop, but i can't find a hood i like....and when i do i hear this kind of stuff. i hear good things about cervini's products but i don't like any of their hoods..i have a cervini ducktail,vent window, and quarter scoop sitting in garage waiting for a hood...i think i'm just going to wait for somebody to come out with a good product that everybody raves about...in the meantime i think i'm ordering a xeonon(how ever u spell it) fake scoop.

Does anyone know if it is possible to paint carbon fiber hoods by seibon? Im leaning toward buying carbon fiber.
I have been drooling over the Seibon hood ever since I first saw it, but after listening to Mr. V's and your experiences, I am shying away from buying an aftermarket hood.
If you buy the Seibon, could you please post a complete review here? I called them and wanted to physically pick-up the hood, so that I could inspect it BEFORE I pay for it. They said that even the delers don't stock any hoods, that they just order them and they get shipped direct to you. It just seems really fishy to me, especially since there is always this big disclaimer at the bottom of these web pages stating that if you have any issues, you better bring them up with the shipper, and not Seibon.
I have not seen one of these hoods installed, but the pictures look very COOL.
You might want to try going to www.mustangupgrades.net and looking at their reviews. I'm not in the market for an aftermarket hood, but happened to see they reviewed some body components including a carbon fiber hood.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
Yeah, the hood I got is essentially junk. I had two seperate body shops look at my hood. Both of them noticed issues that are hard to spot. The only thing I will say, I would have used th ehood, flaws and all, if I could have come up with a way to faix the raised corner issue. The air vents can be functional, all you need to do is open up the air ventr box underneath the hood.
I am not sure if RK Sport makes a junk hood. From What I hear, those who bought the RKsport hood claim just minor fitting issues and sanding. As I understand it, hood4sale manufcatures their own hoods, they just copy RKSport. I have seen a Seibon carbon fiber CA Dream Ram air hood....the problem is I only saw it once and it was $800 without shipping.
Yeh, the hood from Hoods4sale is sketchy at best. I bought one and spent the time to make it right...A LOT of time! It had all kinds of flaws. Poor fit, ripples, thin spots in the gel coat and uneven edges. i had about ten coats of primer applied and blocked out before it was flat enough to spray. Ultimately, it looks great...but I may have issues down the road.
I THINK YOUR EXACTLY RIGHT HOODS4SALE DOES THERE OWN JUNK HOODS. RK SPORTS ARE SUPERIOR.
