Door Trim Problem Went out to my car this morning and just as I was about to open the door I noticed something sticking out of the door trim above the mirror. It was like a piece of cloth but real spongey. I tried to pull it out but it was attached underneath the door trim. It looks like soundproofing material that somehow worked its way out. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have that on mine too. It doesn't want to come out and you can't stick it back in either. i don't know what it is.

Me too. Noticed mine about a month ago. Mine is an 05 I bought new in April of 2005. Are we all about the same age?

Drivers side here, took a razor blade to it and never seen it again.

Had the same thing on the driver side. My build date is Nov. 2004. Took a razor and trimmed the offending piece off the mirror. Have not had a issue since.
