Default wheels offset after frpp handling package

recently installed the frpp handling pkg, includes sway bars, lowering springs, dampers and hood strut...after it was installed i noticed that the space between the wheels is not even on both sides on the front and a bit less on the rear, meaning on the driver side the front wheels comes more out and on the passanger it is more inside about half an inch or a bit more difference and a bit less in the rear wheels, i was told its the way the body was built and it was like that before the sway bars were changed to bigger ones and since it passed alignment, it is not a problem in terms or driving or causing any damage to te car or tires or wheels, did anyone experience that or knows what can be doe to fix this they say pretty muc nothing can be done. thanks for your input

You'll likely need an adjustable panhard bar.

I have had my FFRP handling pack on for several months now and mine is not like that or it is not noticable to my eyes.

Some are worse than others. May need to use a plumb bob from the fenderwell to see how far it's off (if at all).

they actaully told me that a panhard bar will not fix it and they showed me another mustang they did the package on that had a worse offset on the wheels...
i just hope that its noly something that is bugging me in the eyes more then an issue that needs to be fixed. any other ideas?

I checked mine again this afternoon. They may be off by a fraction on an inch but just to the naked eye they look even.

The Panhard bar swings in an arch from the right side of the frame to the left side of the axle. When the car gets lowered, the movement of the arch changed the side to side position of the rear axle. You can still have a perpendicular thrust angel, and the effect on alignment etc. will be negligible. For appearance, an adjustable Panhard bar can center the rear axle under the body.

The front wheels should not be affected side to side by lowering. That is a problem I would look into.

couldn't of said it better , Stangcrosser.

You will need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear after lowering, or even raising the car (I know no one does this). It is mostly for cosmetic reasons.

If you are a road corse racer or avide autocrosser you will need the adjustable panhard bar. you want every 100th you can get.

Same here..........
Sounds like the installation may have a flaw.

from everything i have heard the 2005+ mustangs rear shifts toward the drivers side when you put lowering springs or coil overs in.

I put on the FRPP handling pack and was mis-centered by 3/4 of an inch. A BMR adjustable panhard bar did the trick, now I'm perfectly centered.

Also consider the CHE adjustable panhard rod (http://www.cheperformance.com/). Good stuff and no grease fittings! I just recently purchased the LCAs (still waiting for 'em).

Mine was off in the rear after I lowered mine (1.25" f; 1.75" r). A Steeda adj. Panhard bar put it back dead center. It's also worth putting in the Panhard bar brace (Steeda has a good one) at the same time. Their brace is much stronger than the flimsy stock one.

After lowering, however, I needed to adjust camber in the front, but did not have a problem with side to side offset.
