Whistle sound in second gear

Default Whistle sound in second gear
Has anyone gone to the dealer for the whistle sound in second gear.

I have an Auto 06 Mustang GT. When I accelerate the car sounds like a turbine in second gear only. More like a whistle sound. Once again it only happens in second gear. Does this happen to anyone else out there.

yeah thats the second gear supercharger.... its a factory option in most 06 automatics.... pay no attention to it

I took mine into the Dealership for it and they told me it is normal.

I have that sound in my auto too...sounds kinda cool I think

My '07 GT has the same annoying whistle sound in second gear. I haven't had it back to the dealer for service yet but I hope they have a fix for it. It is embarassing!
