We had the engine mouts changed out, but the motor still lose from them in the first 2 hours, but that was because I was removing other items before I got to those. I would say it would only take about 30-45 minutes to do them if that was the only thing you are changing out.
All the bolts can be removed from the above the engine while the car is on the ground with a few long extensions. Then Jack the motor up, swap em out. Drop motor, set alignment where you want it and then tighten everythign up.

Thanks... I noticed that they aren't terribly expensive. I may look at those at some point.
I've done poly mounts on FWD applications before and they actually improved torque due to the reduced engine flex. I wonder if there is any benefit along those lines in a RWD car?
There is a little but as far as responsiveness goes.
Plus the car twitches when you give it a good rev off idle at a redlight. Its a slight twitch, but my passengers can notice it. Gives it a little cool factor, but mainly they are there as insurace in keeping the header alignment and prevent any clanging against the frame.

Is that the main purpose of them?

It is the main purpose they are suggested by JBA, but looking at where the headers set, I don't think they are absolutely needed.
I am hoping to get some video of the car this weekend with sound. IF this is the set up you are looking at, it is loud. Loud enough that I am sure I could piss the people off that live on my street should i ever decide to open it up late at night.
Though, with the Borlas, there is hardly any drone at Highway speeds, bnut when I had flowmasters, the drone was pretty bad on the interstate.
The Straight through design of the muffler is a great help in making some extra musclecar sound, especially on an engine brake. Though I highly suggest you stay the heck away from Borla. I will never buy a product form them again. NExt tiem it will be Bassani or Corsa.

Kappi187, how do you like your exhaust setup? I'm looking at getting LT's and an offroad X or H pipe, but am a bit worried that it will be too loud with my SLP Loudmouths. Could you feel a noticable difference in power and acceleration? How's the noise in the cabin/ outside? I listened to the video, but unfortunately the sound is a bit distorted when you rev the engine.... sounds pretty mean if you ask me though!
