I was really digging that scoop. What did it have under the hood?

My Dad was the same way about my motorcycle.

Loads of grief about how I was going to wreck my bike and break my neck and use up all my insurance and become a leech on society's back.

Then two years later, he and my Mom drove up to my house on Harleys.

I gave him the speech. "You're going to break your necks and use up all your insurance....."

To tell you the truth my dad is very into cars. I think he might know how to do some of the stuff but says he doesnt know so maybe ill change my mind on it. My dad has alot of cars like his 82 camaro with only 3k miles which he loves and has never been in the rain. He has two really old impalas and cleans and fixes them up all the time. But about the chin spoiler...i dont really think he knew what i was talking about when i said it. He hasnt seen pictures or anything of it.

Well im only 17 and he doesnt want me to spend all my money on the car. Im doing two jobs and so far this summer all the money i have made has gone to the car except for the 200 i have from the last paycheck. I allways listen to my dad, even though i sometimes dont like his reasoning at the time. I didnt mean to put it out like my dad was like that. I know he just wants the best for me.

That's right my friend. You don't want to spend ALL your money on the car. Sock some away. All those goodies-to-buy will still be there later.

Sure hope my wife doesn't see this response.

Default Do I need to update my SCT before I use it?

I installed the CAI and oped the package to the SCT. It says STOP and plug into a computer to update the latest version. It then installs to my computer and nothing happens. I thought I could install the CAI and just plug the SCT int my car and it would work. Can I do that or can someone provide step by step advice on what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you.

Missing some info such as which programmer, etc but you can go here and see if there are any updates

SCT Automotive Performance Products

If it's preloaded with tunes then it should be up to date, but wouldn't hurt to check if there is new firmware available for your programmer.
