Default not sure what tire pressure i need...

i have the 18" wheels with the 235/50/18 bfg tires....was woundring what tire pressure is recommended for those since i upgraded mine and my sticker was showing the tire pressure for 17's. i know the same set up as mine comes optional in the 06 and up mustang gt version, also was woundring if in the winter(which gets below zero here in toronto) is it recommended to change the tire pressure ? thanks!

Most tire and wheel companies recommend +2psi for every inch you go up over oem. IE, if your car comes with 17" and the posted psi inside the door or manual is 32psi and you change to an 18" wheel and tire, use 34psi. Check psi frequently in the cold as it will drop considerably.

I know this is an old thread. That said, I understand that +2 psi is recommended per added inch in wheel size. My question is are there any rules of thumb that apply to WIDER tires? So stock 17" up to 18" = 34 psi. But stock 235 to 275/295 = ?What?
