Default Eleanor Grille Install Advice?

I purchased the 2005-2007 Mustang GT Eleanor Style Front Grille from blueovalindustries.com and I had a few questions.

While the shipping was quick (ordered on Friday - had the item on Tuesday) there were no directions/guide on how to remove the old grille and install the new grille.

Can anyone offer any advice on how to remove the old grille?

How to I get the old tabs to release?

How fragile are the tabs.....I don't want to break them or the piece that receives the tabs?

How are the tabs on the bottom held......same as the side tabs?

Any other removal/installation points that I should be aware of?

Thanks!

When i put my grille in i remember having to bend the tabs in some sort of weird way to get them out, if your being a panzy with those tabs theirs no way your getting that grille out. Dont be afraid to break them as long as you dont plan on puting the old grille bad in. yes the bottem tabs are the same as the side. your probably going to need to make some spacers for the sides and take your time get the grille set depth wise exactly how you like it. Also get some coumpund and wax because their are going to be some scratces from the old grille on the bumper.

Default Grill removal

1- open hood.
2- remove header panel.
3- remove grill:
- Release the side tabs first. Pry the center of the facia tab out while depressing
the grill tab. Pull gently forward as you go. The facia tabs do most of the bending.
The top two are easy. The bottom two will take some convincing.
- Pull gently and rotate the grill forward to access the bottom tabs.
The bottom facia tabs should bend a lot easier. When reaching in to pry the
facia tabs up, be careful of the radiator/hoodlatch brace. Sometimes the metal is sharp.
- Unplug the fog lights.
- Have a beer.

Well you already made your first mistake... You ordered from Blue Oval Industries.. they should be called never answer the damn phone industries. I ordered a 2008 mustang vg gt style grille with the fogs.. and on their website in bold it says its made for my v6 car, and also says NO modifications are needed... well the left light facing the car wont go in because the horn/ bracket for the horn is in the way... All i get is the busy tone when I call, and they shipped me my grille without my wiring harness... So i ask them to reship the wiring harness and manual.. takes them about a week, i get the harness with no manual and there is no PDF you can download on their site.. Borderline ridiculous... NEVER AND I REPEAT NEVER ORDER FROM BLUE OVAL INDUSTRIES!! NEVER BELIEVE THEIR ADVERTISING AND MAKE SURE YOU NEVER GET TANGLED UP WITH THEM!!! BAD EXPERIENCES AND THERE ARE SIMILIAR ONES!! JUST READ THREADS!!! Thats my two cents
