Has anyone installed Brake Light Pulsers sold by Web Electric Products? Were installation instructions easy to follow and how would you rate the product?
i think you mean the sequential tail lights. if that is what you meant, i don't have them on my car, but guys on here have posted how easy the install is. apparently just installing a relay, or sumtin, in line with the brake light wiring.

The ones from web electric are a complete replacement harness and took about 30 minutes to install, very easy. Just gain access to the stock harness and replace it with the new one.

What I was asking about is a brake light pulser for the 3rd brake light or what some call the high mounted brake light. When you first apply the brake, it flashes 5 times and then you get a normal continous light on. Some vehicles come with these installed as standard equipment. The flashing of the 3rd brake light attracts the attention of the driver behind you.

I do have it installed. The first one went bad and I sent it back and they sent it back to me saying nothing was wrong with it. I installed it and it was working. But later on it stopped working. Ask them to replace it and they did and it's been working fine since. It's really really easy to install. You just need to cut one wire going to the third brake light and connect the device and ground it. When you cut the wire, don't cut it close to the connection section.
I think it's legal here in KY and OHIO. All of the buses use them to draw attention to them when they stop. Also all of the motorcycle guys are adding this mod to their bikes so people see that their stopping better.

They are definitely legal. Some vehicles are now coming from the factory with them already installed. I know for a fact that some Explorers and E250 vans have them. I think they really draw the drivers attention behind your vehicle.
I was jsut trying to make him aware of what i thought the law was. i know guys with them on their cars who have gotten pulled over and gotten warnings and or tickits

Yeah, these things have been PROVEN to save lives on motorcycles. I like the sequentials that really quickly do the "1,2,3" thing when the brake is applied. It gets your attention but isn't over the top.
