I don't know... You've resisted the mod bug far better than most of us. I thought for sure you would have caved-in by now.

With the MD tune it feels stock, which is to say borderline gutless at less than full throttle. With the Bama race tune it feels as though I put 4.10 gears in it it is so responsive.
BTW my noises were: a dash squeak which the dealer fixed with some foam, a rattle which turned out to be the passenger seat belt retractor which they are replacing, and a groan from the rear end noticeable when making u-turns. They have the diff cover off now and are investigating the cause. Interestingly they said they could not align my front end because the camber with the Steeda Ultralite springs was too far off. The service guy didn't know the actual readings but I'll find out tomorrow. I was surprised that the camber changed that much with the 1 inch Steeda drop.
Damn 65,
I thought all this time w/ the Steeda UL'S there was no need for an alignmnet. Did the springs throw your rear off to one side more? Damn.

After reading this thread I am saying to myself "Oh I will be able quit anytime I want" but really know that it is not true.

Maybe someone should start a support group for those that want help. Name suggestions? How's Hooked on Mods or MAA?

I cant believe the difference! I had only put 1000 miles or so on my car when I did the CAI but i dont remember it making that much difference but now with 3100 miles I can tell a huge difference without it!!! not the same car! its not near as loud...why is that???? timing???? I think my wifes V-6 with her CAI and tune would give me a good run
It is MONEY WELL SPENT!
Personally, I'd like to see them try and link the dash rattle to the CAI

True. But you're still rubbing off. Slowly but surely. I got the CAI, now I'm looking at a tuner. Next it'll be the exhaust. You people are relentless.....

Besides, I was speaking collectively. I'm still good at spending other people's money.

Yes i agree. I would of never got a CAI and tuner if it wasn't for you kind people. Then i got exhaust and now the MAC H-pipe. The list goes on. Most ideas and parts have came from rec's of other people. Kind of funny how that works out.

I will say this though, if you have spent my money, you've spent it very well so far .
Thanx, you are all now on my christmas list.

I carefully measured the rearend centering and it is virtually perfect, probably because the Steedas don't lower the rear quite enough. I'd prefer another 1/4" lower to make the top of the tire to fender opening gap more equal front to rear. I don't pick my car up until Monday so I don't know how far off the alignment actually is. They're replacing the rearend clutch pack after 4700 miles of easy driving. Hmmm.
