Default C&L CAI Install question

Just put the C&L CAI on. My question is the pvc tube connection on the passenger side. The C&L aluminum section has a tube that is about 3 inches long. When you put the pvc on, the connector "with the green tab" does not go all the way on. Should it? Does anyone have pics of a correctly installed unit that shows this connection?

It should seal against the insulation. Is it leaving an impression in the insulation? IS the hood difficult to close?

I wouldn't worry to much, mine did the same thing. At least you know you're getting a good seal!
