Default Roush S/C & headers

Gonna put long tube headers on an '05 Roush gt w/h the Roushcharger & just wondering if the engine can be jacked up enough with the charger on top to remove the motor mounts.I haven't seen the car yet so I don't know how much clearance there is between the top of the charger & the cowl area. Thanks for any help!

Not sure I understand the connection between the s/c and the ability to lift the engine. Should make no difference.

As an example, the Saleen supercharger requires that you install engine lowering engine mounts, or it will hit the hood. This is a good question.

I guess you will need to measure your under-hood clearance and figure it out yourself.... I'm only dreaming of a S/C right now, so I can't help!

the cars I have seen with the Saleen S/C ..is very close to the cowl...very close. I'm guessin you can still jack it up but its goin to have to come straight up.

Thanks guys, that's what I'm wondering, will the s/c hit the cowl area before you can get the engine high enough to get the mounts off to put the headers on.

Now I understand. Didn't realize there was that much of a potential clearance issue. Are you actually replacing the mounts or just removing & reinstalling the stockers?
