Hi all, I just purchased an 06 GT convertible. I have the Shaker 1000 Stereo. When I adjust the stereo, on the menu is a way to turn the Shaker on and off. When I push this button, there seems to be NO difference in sound. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a switch on the Sub-woofer in the trunk I must turn on? Any Advice is welcome. Thanks in advance

No switch on the sub.

As for what menus do what..I can't help. Been so long since I have seen a skipper1000 I don't remember what the menu's look like. Sorry.

The "Shaker" mode is junk. It over-amplifies the signal to the subs in the trunk to increase the amount of bass. This is only useful if you want to be the jack*ss blasting (c)rap "music" and annoying other people.

Push the button to turn on the radio. Push the menu button once and you should see shaker on/off. Use the above arrow up or down to turn the feature on or off. Adjust the volume right after the clear this feature. I think the radio kicks a$$ myself. No problem here. If I wanted some big fancy after market unit … I would have left the radio out when I ordered the car. These radio now w/ the tv's are a joke in my book. Leave the monitors for the back seat riders.

Yea, you should have gotten an amp with a remote bass switch. Mounted it under the drivers side dash, and been on with your day.

I wouldn't put TV's in my car. Ill be damne dif im spending money for someone else to watch TV in MY car. If anyone is going to be lazy its going to be me. .

As for (c)rap music, id love to see you make a beat and drop a verse or two. Old people get just as mad when i play pantera or play 2pac. They are never happy, so I kind of stopped trying to please them.

I have a hard enough time keeping my eyes on the road w/ the sirius radio. I have to turn down the raw dog comedy when I pick the kid up at school and then he takes over the controls and on goes the shaker
