Default Clunking noise in front suspension

I am nearing the end of my 36000 mile warranty and I need some quick info on the clunking noise problem in the front susp. I have always had this noise. It feels and sounds like something is loose in the left and right front suspension or wheel assembly. Can someone tell me if there is a TSB for this problem or has anyone else experienced this. Thanks.

Possible loose or damaged vertical sway bar link or bad/failing bushing.

Default Dealer time

Time to pester your dealer until they fix it. After the warranty's gone, its your problem.

STL is probably correct. I know of one case where an 05 was found to have the complete wrong bushings in the front end. If it has indeed been doing this forever and since new, they should fix it. (You've been way more patient than I would have been).

I believe Hawgman has had his sway bar bushings replaced on multiple occasions.

I had the same thing on mine. when I backed up, and touched the break it would clunk, and then go forward and touch the brake it would clunk on both sides. It would only do this one going from drive to reverse or reverse to forward. I appears that the rotor lug holes are a little large so the extra play in mine caused the clunk. Dealer to me it was my fault coz I removed the wheels and I did not tighten the lugs enough. (100 T). Anyways, the lugs were retorqued and it all went away.

Might be worth a try, expecially if you take on and off your wheels for any reason.

I had a "clunky rattle" in the front end which drove me nuts until I discovered that I had not adequately torqued down a sway bar link.

I had the same thing and that's exactly what it was. The top nut had worked itself loose.
