Exclamation Need Help with Wheels and Tires for my 2006 Mustang!

I've been looking into getting some new wheels/tires for my ride for a while now. I'm wanting to go with 18x9/18x10 Bullitts through americanmuscle.com. I still haven't decided on my tire choices as well as sizes I want for the street yet though. I'm thinking maybe BFG KDW2's or Nitto 555's, except I need something with good treadlife that still hooks on the street though. Input would be very appreicated on the tires please.

Now for the track I really want to just change out the back two rims. So I was curious if it would be okay to throw a 17x9 on the back with some ET Streets. Even though there would be an 18x9 on the front. Would that be okay?

I'm really not good with wheels/tires and need to learn some more info on them and do some more research for myself.

Thanks,

- Justin

Actually, my main concern is with the 17's at the track, and if it will work fine with the 18's up front.

The nitto 555r's are great, my uncle has them on his 66 box nova i was with him and we ran 85 on the highway in a downfall of rain. They also hook pretty good on the street even thought the car has over 850 horsepower. If your looking for something that hooks on the street stay away from the KDW i have it on my 20's and it spins harder than the stock 17's.

Just so you know, if you get the Bullitt 18" wheels you will have a problem fitting the rims over 13 or 14 " rotor. I bought the SSBC 13" caliper and rotors kits for the front and back. They say I needed at least 17" wheels to use the kit. Not so. I have 18" Bullitt's and the back still won't fit. Having a hell of a time finding out what will work.
Also, they say that the BFG will last longer than the Nitto 555"s. I've got the 555's on my car. So far so good.
