Would stage 3 cams doing anything for me? If so what else should be done? Just wondering about it.

good question Mick as I thought about this too. Id say it would help....it makes a difference on N/A motors and should make even a bigger difference on FI motors...Id love to do it

Stage 3 cams vs stage 1 and leave the stocker throttle body on.

higher lift/duration cams will make huge power on FI application. +1 on street friendly. I'm only at 347 and my car rattles my teeth

dude, if u wana go faster, think weight, not power. reduce weight by all means (costs less), and u get virtual horsepower!

I don't think 400 N/A would be very street friendly and it would be excessivly expensive. I am at 473 with my S/C and it is very street friendly and I am sure I have not spent anywhere near what it would cost to get to 400 N/A. That being said if you really want to do it have you considered a stroker rotating assembley with ported heads and cams? If you stroke it out to 298 or 302 and have ported heads, cams L/T headers and a good CAI you may be able to get it, but I don't know how streetable the car would be. Just a thought.

Even 350 (naturally aspirated) is pushing the bounds of streetable.

Ok Mark as you know I am not sure of my horsepower the weather got too cold by the time I could do the dyno it but I am guessing I am near MickMach, are you saying if I do stage 3 It will not be streetable? Also if you do cam should I do heads and forge the bottom? I am looking to stay on pump gas and using car only on my time off it has to stay street legal. I am concerned about cost but it will not hold me back I hope. Just wondering what I should plan on doing down the road. I am still going to keep all mods under the hood for as long as I can hold out. This sleeper thing is really fun I should bring a camera you gotta see and hear the remarks when I open the hood.

Mick, u have a lot of potential still from your supercharger, just throw a smaller pulley (3.6) inch since u have a 3.8, that will be good for 2 lbs of boost ! and it only costs 170 dlls aprox

Tough call. You add state 3 cams to your blower and you'd potentially add another 60 rwhp. Add PnP heads and you might be getting into an unsafe range for a stock 3v motor.

Thanks MexGt I did not know a pully change would help.
Mark what if I go thru the $ and hassle of redoing the lower end?

Sure... If you beef up the lower end--crank, pistons, rods you can safely take it into the 500+ rwhp range. Look at what KJ has done.
