FRPP also cost a heck of alot more!!


Stage 3 cams and livernois stage 1's should give 55-60. Stg. 3 cams and Stg. 3 Livernois Heads should give 60-70

rwhp ? That would be 70 flywheel hp with stage 3 cams and stg 1 heads right? mmmmm jeez sounds good

Yea,about 70flywheel hp. Stg. 1 heads give 35hp-40hp,and stg. 3 cams give about 35-40 flywheel hp too.

But if you do stg. 1 head/stage 3 cam package it would be 65-70 flywheel

Does anyone know if Comp Cams stage 3 cams work with the Livernois spring upgrade? That would be a sweet combo if they did. The springs come on their stage 2 heads.

You could either buy the cams alone and get the heads with springs and retainers or you could get the cams with springs and retainers and get the heads alone

I read the FRPP P&P heads story today and think I know the problem...?? You HAVE TO HAVE long tube headers to make the 3V P&P heads flow on these things. Cams do better but the exhaust ports ported into stock manifolds don't do well...

I think that when they got 13rwhp from the FRPP heads they had LT headers cause in the magazine article they took the engine out for the head install and the guy had alot longer headers than stock.

I put the Magnacharger on my 06 with Magnaflow X-pipe Flowmaster cat back steeda CIA with 6lbs of boost and made 419.5 RWHP Sounds like too much time to do it anyother way It took 9 hours to install and ran at the track 12.7's I'm happy

Reread it... text says afterback exhaust but pictures cleasrly show LTs...?!?!

Oh well... it kinda clear that custom grinded or CNCed heads will do better....

44130; yea, a blower is always easier but it's also always 'cheating'!
