Default First Time Baseline Dyno

Hello All,

I just had my 07 CS Dyno'd at RPM Cylinder Head and Engine Co. in Ft Walton Beach. Great bunch of guys. It was my first time ever on a dyno and they were helpful and patient educating me. I'm wondering if my numbers sound right to you all. They were using a Dynojet 1st pull was in 3rd gear and got 262 rwh pull 2 and 3 were in 4th gear and registered 270 and 268 rwh respectively. All I'm running is O/R X pipe and Pypes Violator mufflers. Started the pulls once I reached 2500rpm. Like I said it was my first time on a dyno.

I'm waiting for my C&L street and X-CAL 2 from Dyno Joe also a great guy. Can't wait to get it. Hopefully in the next couple of days.

Those are great stock numbers. Right in line with where you should be figuring a 12% drivetrain loss.

I know the S197s can have up to a 10hp difference from car to car so I'm glad I have a winner and not one that is on the low side like some I've read about on the Forums.

I've seen them range from the high 230s to the low 280s. You did alright!

Wow you've seen 07's put down 280 to the wheels with stock exhaust? I would think that's a rare one doing that. The 260's number sounds right. And a dyno tune will make you even happier!
