Default 2005 Mustang GT - Multiple Check Engine Codes... Need some help...

Well, it gets warm outside and my car must not like it much... I still have 300 miles on the break in period on my clutch and it seems my car is not happy right now. Here are the codes I have:

P0010 Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open (Bank 1)

P0010 Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open (Bank 2)

PO135 O2 Heater Circuit Bank 1

PO155 O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1)

PO443 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit

PO446 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit

PO645 A/C Clutch Relay Control Circuit

And last but not least:

PO145A Unknown - gotta love that one...

To make things even better, my A/C does not work and I don't hear the compressor moving - PO645 may solve that one....

If anyone can assist me in getting these resolved, I would really appreciate it. Is this what I should expect in the future with this thing?

Cheers,
SA

FIrst time it has done this since the clutch replacement? How long ago was the clutch replacement? Sounds like something may be unplugged somewhere.

This IntelliTXT stuff sucks.

Wow... Closest I can find on that P0145a is O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response. Have you had any other work done recently.

Recently no - I have a Vortech blower, 4:10's and a new clutch - those are the major pieces.... I hope I did not start a trend here....

Cheers,

Thanks to all who offered advice. It turns out that Fuse 47 was blown. It's amazing that Ford allows 9 CEL's for one fuse - but hey - who knows... The name for the fuse was "Engine 1" (clearly defined name in the manual - what the hell is Engine 1???). After some review, it looks like one/many of the following things are causing this:

-EVAP canister vent solenoid
-A/C Clutch Relay
-H02S
-Variable Timing Solenoid
-Intake Manifold Runner Control Module
-EVAP canister purge valve

The car is fine when it is running - no codes and the A/C works fine. The car blows the fuse in the first 15 feet of moving. I am taking the car back to have them check out the wires by the clutch to see if any pinched. Any other ideas of what may be causing this????

Again guys, THANKS!!!
I never knew a yellow light could make me so mad....

Cheers,
SA

Sounds like you've got a short somewhere or something isn't grounded properly.

Most likely it's a faulty ground. I go through this on my sailboat all the time. Give me A/C anyday. 12 volt systems give me fits.

I don't know about running 430rwhp without an intercooler or something of that nature. That would mean your putting like 450 and above at the engine or fly. I don't think I would run good for you either . im sure you already know this though. My vote would then be for a ground. I had a similar problem with my first mustang. When i first read this thread i thought u had a way bigger problem. GL

We went through the car today and replaced the 15 amp fuse and the car drove for over an hour with everything on and then the fuse let go... I am thinking it is something in the A/C system (that is the only thing that sucks up power)... So I may have to break down and take it to the dealer . I HATE THE DEALER...

As for the aftercooler - I have 2 other friends that have the same set-up putting the same amount of power that I am running without any problems. You do notice a little less power when it is over 90 degrees - but you still have plenty.... The aftercooler kit would put me up around 500RWHP - a little too much without building the low end of the car. That will be my winter project - if I can get this fuse thing figured out.....

Cheers,
SA

Ok reading this post is almost a weird Dejavous. My car I had taken into FORD 3 weeks ago . This car was running perfect will all my mods and i took it in because my transmission was grinding going from 1st to 2nd gear. So I took the chance and took it to FORD with 15,000 miles on my car the mechanic quickly figured that it was a Sycro ring and He suggested that i replace the clutch. SO he had it for a week and then he called me saying it was ready I came to pick up the car and he says to me I just noticed you have a check engine light and that your AC is not working they were about to close so he took it into his Ac buddy and we noticed the compressor would not come on . He put the computer on the car and found EVERY one of the codes you have stated in this post . Right off the bat he stated that it was caused by me modifying my computer(DIABLOSPORT PREDATOR) . of course trying to take blame off from them . well as i was driving away I noticed that the transmission had a small clunk in it so the next day I brought it back. took the Predator program off and returned car back to stock before bringing it in and still same problem with the check engine light. So they are still working on the transmission as of today 3 weeks later which is ridiculous that it has taken this long. but today I spoke with the general service manager and we had a war of words and he said he will not fix my car under warranty because he believes that because i modified the car that i corrupted the computer and well it was at that . but after reading this post i realize that they probably did pinch or cut a wire that is shorting that fuse similiar to your situation. this gives me new fuel to bring to them next week . well i hope it all works out for you and i would suggest in looking at the wiring around the transmision and the clutch we have the same identical problem. If you do find out what it is ill be watching post and Ill do the same .

I finally found the problem - the heated O2 sensor at the top of the tranny got cut around the heat shield. I simply moved the heat shield off of the O2 and put some new sealant on the wire and all things are go (as far as I know). It was a little hard to find because the cut was tiny - but that solved my problem.....

Let me know how you make out - I went over the entire car. I subscribed to alldatadiy.com for $25 bucks and got some great info. on finding the issues. I luckily did not have to take it back to Ford.

I HATE THE DEALER!!!!!

Like I said - if you need some extra help, just let me know and I can email you a bunch of stuff...

Cheers,
SA

when you say the heated o2 sensor on the tranny. Is there an 02 sensor on the tranny? or are you speaking of one of then 02 sensors on the Hpipe or the headers? I hate dealers as well and this is a good example . you take it in for one thing and they cause another problem. Last time almost 1 year ago my A/C resistor went bad not allowing the ac speed to regulate and when I brought the car in it left with them smashing both my car doors in. so this is another reason that I hate the dealerships.
