Even if you tirn them off, the computer still does a systems check when it fires up. You need to either put extensions on or O2 sims in the facotry plugs. It has to "see" they are there or you will get a code, plus you need to turn them off, but your tune should take care of this. I am not sure about the Predator, but the SCT2 doesn't have the option the person writing the tune turns them off.
I say, turn them off, plug em with some rear sims or extensions... you need the front ones functional, clear your codes and see what happens then.
