Custom Heat Shield for CDC Shaker and Power House Turbo PICS!
I had Power House create a custom heat shield to work with my CDC Shaker Hood Scoop. Looks BAD ASS. I wanted to thank Mike at PH for his time and effort. At FFW a couple of months ago I gave Mike at PH my shaker hood scoop so he could custom build me a heat shield that would work in my car. He also trimed up the shaker to fit perfectly as some of the components of the Turbo did not fit right. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job on custom fabbing up a shield and trimming up the shaker to give this car a true custom look.
The heat shield was powder coated and I had it painted to match the exterior of the car. At the same time I also had the CAI painted as well. I finaly installed it and got it all back from the body shop today. What do you guys think? I wanted a car that is all show and all go and this custom heat shield completes my project. Once again thanks Mike and grunts at PH AWSOME !
Check out page 220 in this months 5.0 Mag. Yeah baby!
That looks great. It's amazing how professional something can look when taking just a little time to pay attention to the details. Nice job.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
Awesome! You gotta love it when good looks meet functionality.

Thanks guys I appreciate all the positive feed back. I may change the grill back to the original as I'm not sold on the elnor style grill. Also check this out. My car made it in this months issue of 5.0 check out page 220. Top left corner. That pic was with the original gril and the chin was painted flat black.

I agree completely for some reason the flat black on Red Fire paint doesnt look good. On other color schemes it looks real nice but not on mine. So I had it painted. I'm still debating to put the stock grill back on.

What do yo u think about black stripes on a redfire. mine is a redfire. I agree the chin looks good painted bodycolor. your ride looks sweet. Besides a C&L, Brenspeed tune and a steeda shifter sitting on my table, thats all ive done so far. We are moving to Atlanta from Mobile as soonas our house sells. I would be interested in finding a good shop who knows mustangs around there.

Well if yo move to atlanta then your in luck we have one of the best tuners in the south east down here. Tim Barth at Modular Power House is in Woodstock. He's got cars from all over the country as far as michigan in his shop. He's great to work with and some of his cars are flat out sick. He's stricly a Mustang guy and every time I go by his shop he's got at least 30 mustangs sitting out in front. Not sure about the stripes Redfire is a wierd color. It looks great in the sun when the metal flakes reflect but in the shade the black doesnt seem to contrast well. http://www.modularpowerhouse.com
