Default Problem with Granatelli twin 62mm throttle body

Hello. Does anybody out there have any experience with the twin 62mm Granatelli throttle bodies for 2005-07 GT's? I purchased on e-bay and cannot get it to work properly. These are very basic and I followed all the instalation instructions and even called their tech line looking for assistance but I still had the same issue the throttle seems to be sticking open. After I installed it I took it for a test run and was able to idle at 65 mph in 4th gear. Push in the clutch when you come to a stop and it idles up to 3000+ RPM and continues to rev until you reengage the cluch at which point it drops back down but as soon as you touch the accelerator it starts all over again. I tried their tech support again and all they said was check the idle stop and make sure the return spring was properly engaged which I verified twice and everything was adjusted correctly but I still have the same issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Could it be a problem with the tune? Does your CPU know you have a new, larger TB?

I would guess it's a problem with the actuator motor or TPS. Are you sure you got the spring tensioned properly? Could also be a voltage problem.

Maybe that's why it was on eBay? I'd never buy a Granatelli product personally, but best of luck to you.

I have had no problem with mine. I would guess it is the spring like a few have said too. I had to twist mine almost 360 to get it right when putting it togeather. Hope you figure it out.

Yeah twisting that lil bi+ch is a pain if you dont have the tools lol, i had to do it with a screwdriver and my car keys ! Pushing down and turning 360 is quite difficult hehe.
Though i have the BBK

If it doesn't work for you seems that item will be posted again on e-bay

throttle body came with the tensioning tool. I turned it about 3/4 of a turn and it lineed up with the tangs perfectly. After i had my first issue i double checked everyhting and even tried to tension it more but I would have had to turn it nearly 450 degrees. Something else is amiss.

A pair of needle nose pliers works great.

You need to check your TPS voltages with a voltmeter. Voltage readings need to be between 1.19 and 1.31 volts

I think you are one of the few lucky ones. May have to do though with the fact that you have an AT and I have a MT. When using the clutch to downshift the thing will go back to a normal idle but otherwise it will rev on you.
