Nicely done, Mark... I hope I'm right behind ya!! We'll see in the next few weeks I guess. Plus, I want to do it on 12psi.

Yeah, that heat was brutal. Ok, so not as fast as CK, but:
Ok, so with mine I didn't even change the wheels and tires, just drove up 110 miles, put in some race gas (100) and let it cool down, then ran a 11.347 @ 120.43. 7.254 @ 95.89 mph at the 1/8th. Full weight, even with the shaker 1000 system. Then drove home. I did notice on the way too the track going through the mountain passes that the car got a little warmer then usual. I actually turned off the a/c for a little while to play it safe.

Best 1/8th mile: 6.740 @ 101.56 mph with a 1.431 60' time
Best 1/4 mile: 10.672 @ 128.42 mph with a 1.480 60' time Special thanks to:

Thump_rrr - billet tensioner
325/45/17 M&H's (which are street legal) @ 17psi and a PI 3300 3 disc converter.
CK's car leaves harder--he has got a transbrake with slicks and is normally in the high 1.4X's for a 60' time.

Do you have roll cages? Guys at my track get one warning if they break 11.49 and if they do it again they're banned without a roll cage. One guy went ran 11.2 and didn't even get a warning he asked to leave imediately and to not come back without a roll cage. Another guy on my team with a new Shelby GT500and a 14lb pulley ran 11.52 and got his one warning. Unfortunately he has more money than brains and it ready to cut up his Shelby to install a roll cage.

Yeah, I was warned at Irwindale, ran a 7.27 there and the cutoff is a 7.25. At Famoso, the lady that was handing out the timeslips didn't mention anything to me, not even a warning.....
