Default Some BMR Products From Early 07 May Have Defective Bushings.

So I was driving along and noticed a strange clunking sound from the front end on the right side. But When I heard this sound I could also feel a little something in the steering wheel. To me it felt like the right brake caliper was loose and were clunking whenever I pressed or released the brake pedal.

So I took the tire off and found immediately that the calipers were fine. I then noticed the rear bushing on my BMR tubular A-Arm was pretty much disintigrated. I called BMR and they said they think they received a bad batch of bushings at the beginning of the year. Sure enough, I bought mine on January 18.

BMR customer service was great as always and they sent me some replacements without charge. But I am without my car until they arrive and are installed. I'm doing some other work while I'm waiting for the parts.

Bummer Dan... But sounds like you'll be good as new soon. I had a problem with a set of tubular LCA bushings. They not only sent me new bushings but the new boxed shape LCAs, no charge. BMR customer svc is top notch!
