Some BMR Products From Early 07 May Have Defective Bushings. So I was driving along and noticed a strange clunking sound from the front end on the right side. But When I heard this sound I could also feel a little something in the steering wheel. To me it felt like the right brake caliper was loose and were clunking whenever I pressed or released the brake pedal.
So I took the tire off and found immediately that the calipers were fine. I then noticed the rear bushing on my BMR tubular A-Arm was pretty much disintigrated. I called BMR and they said they think they received a bad batch of bushings at the beginning of the year. Sure enough, I bought mine on January 18.
BMR customer service was great as always and they sent me some replacements without charge. But I am without my car until they arrive and are installed. I'm doing some other work while I'm waiting for the parts.
