Question 2005+ Mustang Anti-Squat Brackets (aka LCA Relocation Brackets)

I am looking at getting a set of anti-squat brackets (aka LCA relocation brackets). The two I am considering right now are CHE (http://www.cheperformance.com/CartGe...pid=209&cid=15) or BMR (http://bmrfabrication.com/2005MustangDRIVELINE.htm)... however I am open to other suggestions.

I'm looking for feedback from those of you who have installed these, with respect to quality, fit and finish, installation, durability, performance, etc. Any and all comments will be appreciated. TIA...

Either one... But I am partial to the CHE stuff as of late.

I too have heard a lot of good things about CHE (even though the rest of my suspension is pretty much all BMR). Seems like CHE makes top notch stuff. One thing I do like about the BMR bracket is that it has two position settings, whereas the CHE only has one. That will give me some additional adjustability for dialing in the suspension.

I just put mine on on the weekend (CHE). I had to grind out the holes on the CHE brackets slightly so they would line up with the factory holes. I haven't been to the track yet. Hopefully Friday.

I did not install them personally... however I have the Steeda's my understanding is they have more (3) spots to make adjustments where as most of the other brands have a single point. this allows (potentially) a better set up. This was recommended to me by my speed shop. the owner of which was a steeda engineer for 8 years an a accomplished SCCA road racer.

Thanks for that link! I like the idea of having 3 adjustment holes.

Hey your welcome...glad I could give a little back... I've learned so much from the more experienced guys like you...and have seen your passes many times... glad to see your still around on a few boards... saw some nonsense elsewhere... look forward to watching your vids. Very Jealous at how often you guys get to run...

I have a rental day next thursday.... first time down the 1/4.. wish me luck.. hoping for 12.0-12.1 area... maybe a shot at breaking 12...but will have to have the good drive mod I think for that....

As far as that "nonsense elsewhere"... well fock'em. I have a hard time dealing with pompous A holes.

Don, you mentioned earlier in a tread the 2 intersecting points of the UCA and LCA, by bringing that point closer to the rear it help traction, can you please direct me to where you found that info. I am thinking about plugging the holes shutt and drilling new ones at the optimum location for my car, if the ones already there are out, which I doubt...
the BMR's will work well for that...
Thanks

There are lot's of places that talk about it... but here's one I just googled; it's fairly detailed: http://www.raceglides.com.au/TechInfo.htm

Thanks Don, looks like I have a lot of reading to do...at first glance seems that parallel to the ground is best for street use and more anti squat for hard launch, well we kind of knew that right? that is going to be fun trying to determine the best all around instant center...
No wonder there so many choices of relocation bracket with so many holes...
It would be nice to do a comparison between the suppliers and find out what are their hole positions...
Take care
