Default 2005 Mustang Problems With Gas Leak And Sqeaking Steering

I have an 05 mustang that I love/hate relationship with, it seems like I have had it in the shop so much that I know the tech's by first name basis now.
Has anyone had these problems?
Lumbar motor went out
smelly car after rain
Drivers window falling into place when rolled down
sweaky steering when making turns
major gas leak under drivers side of car
fuel gauge not working
radio and all elect gauges not working
Im not sure what to do, I love the car, but I hate going to the dealership every other month for issues.

About the smell after rain, you probably have the same leak I had. It is probably due to missing sealant along the cowl area. Check out this link.

http://www.acc.umu.se/~olsson/tsb07-14-06.pdf

I didn't notice a smell but I did find some moisture under the carpet on the passenger's side. Eventually my lights stayed on because of water infiltration to an electronics module on the passenger side behind the kick panel.

As for the other problems, I didn't have any of those. I have another problem now though: My car was wrecked this weekend.

Sounds like you may have a fuel leak at the fuel filter (driver side/underneath under black protective panel). Also with the leak, you may have damage to the smart junction box in the passenger kick panel. That could explain the electrical problems.
