Take a look at the MustangForums thread I linked to.

7 people have done this, including me, since last night at 1 AM.

One guy had a problem as he had a different revision of the pedal assembly, REV 4.0 while everyone else who did it, and me, had REV 1.0

It really does work!

We've coined it the "tube Mod"

Lol.

I wonder if you will get the high rev version. It would be nice to see the difference. Maybe you can take pics if that is the one you get.

Also... wonder what the changes were for revs 2 & 3? And could rev 4 address this issue already?

They might not even have made it to production, just prototype revs on a print.
I wonder how many miles they are rated for

It appears someone was mistaken, and mis-read his circuit board.

EVERYONE has REV 1.0, there are no other revisions, false alarm.

Mod on!

let us know how it works out stlwagon.........in therory it seems to make sense the faster those little wires contact the pick ups the quicker you have throttle. Bend them closer, hense less dead space on the throttle. I dont think is what we call throttle lag is it? Is'nt throttle lag when the engine does not respond immediatly to the foot? this seems like just less play in the pedal assembly. sound right???

It makes sense... You get those contacts in the right place sooner. it's going to take less time to respond to the pedal.

Sounds like a cool "free" mod or min 43.00.

I will wait on this though, from a safety standpoint "threat or control Management" standpoint sceneiro, of like changing the poundage of a trigger from 10lbs to 3lbs, or double action to single action, might put one in the danger zone.

By no means am I bashing the mod, or doubt the results, I am just viewing it from a control issue, and wet or icy roads.
