The vertical sway bar link is not torque to yield like the rear suspension bolts.
You are correct however, the locking feature in the nuts do not retain their serviceability after they have been removed and reinstalled.
In this case torque is not the issue it is the ability of the ability of the locking feature to retain the torque applied.

I totally agree and wasn't debating that. The issue is the rear suspension torque to yield bolts. Has nothing to do with the nuts.
W704888-S439 Lower control arm rear bolt (2 required)
W704886-S439 Lower control arm front bolt (2 required)
W704991-S900 Lower control arm rear nut (2 required)
W710089-S440 Lower control arm front nut (2 required)
W708795-S439 Upper control arm front bolt
W709884-S440 Upper control arm rear bolt (2 required)
W520215-S440 Upper control arm rear nut
W710051-S439 Upper control arm flag bolt
STL, are you sure all of those part numbers are right?
I just came back from my ford part store, and they said some of the part numbers didn't exist:
W704888-S439 Lower control arm rear bolt (2 required)
W704886-S439 Lower control arm front bolt (2 required) W709884-S440 Upper control arm rear bolt (2 required) W710051-S439 Upper control arm flag bolt
I asked them if they could search for the Items in the database without using the part numbers and the guy said they couldn't search without part numbers.... The guy was not very helpful. Anyways he said a non-specific bolt from any auto part store would work also; but I laid into him hard about not having parts that might be needed if there was a problem with a warrantied car. I asked how they would fix a car if they don't have the ford required parts... He stared at me like moons were colliding.
Should I check out another dealer for the parts or just buy non-specific bolts?

This parts guy is a DINGBAT! Yes they can look up the part numbers on their computer. Ask for his boss or the parts manager and you will get the parts you want. They may have to order them but you can get them.

thats what I figured, I was really upset, and what he said really didnt make any sense! Ive had plenty of issues with these same guys with my brake replacement... they gave us such a runaround of how they would never use a tool to compress a rear brake piston..... Its impossible to replace brakes otherwise! I think I will speak to there manager next time!

Those are right out of the service manual so I hope they're correct.
My Steeda LCA's arrived this afternoon. I called Steeda to inquire why the bolts were not included when they are required per Ford specs. They said that they never replace the bolts, they always re-use the stock ones. I'm going to purchase new hardware anyway, but I thought that I would pass that along......

Nobody supplies new bolts with their LCAs/UCAs. I still think you're smart to replace them.
well After going back to the parts department and working with a woman that is a family friend there, I finally got most of the bolts that I needed for my car. We had to search for each one, because the numbers didn't match up correctly. the numbers that they have are slightly off. I ended up needing like 12 bolts total, but they could only find 9..... for the other bolts they said they don't sell, because it wasn't necessary to replace them. They said other part stores or reusing with lock-tite would do the trick. anyways my 9 bolts/nut needed along with a wholesaler discount came out to be $45.15, and will be arriving some time next week.
Im just glad I got them ordered and hope I don't run into any problems during the install!

Post the part numbers you got so we can make available to all. Thanks.
Thats all the info I got from my invoice. I'm hoping that I got all that was needed for the install, or I might just have to use some lock-tite on the factory nuts and bolts....
Did anyone else have anything similar when they were ordering replacement bolts/nuts?
Has anyone reused the bolts/nuts with lock-tite? What has been the result?
I printed the rear suspension pdf and took it directly to the dealer yesterday. I ordered almost every bolt and nut available in the rear suspension. The receipt is itemized, but it only displays part numbers so I don't know what is what, but the p/n's are directly from the pdf file. I am replacing the shock nuts/bolts, ph bar nuts/bolts, LCA nuts/bolts & swaybar nuts/bolts. If this doesn't resolve the clunking, nothing will. We should know by next weekend.

I also brought my dealer the PDF file, but most of the numbers didnt match up on the computer, so we had to manually match up the parts on a diagram.
