S197 Mustang GT 02 sensor install - where route wires? 2006 Mustang GT

Putting in am LC-1 sensor for my gauge, and I need to get wires from the dash to the exhaust. I have the center console removed (among many other dash parts), and I'm wondering if there is a spot around my automatic tranny to run the wires for the sensor.

There are rubber grommets on the drivers and passenger side foot areas. On each should be a small nipple. You could cut or drill a hole in each and run your wires through there. I did that for the power wire for my amps. You will have to remove the large plastic piece in the fenderwell to access it from outside the car.

Just make sure to silicone around the wire exit point to prevent any water from getting inside. Are you having an additional bung welded in? Your sensor needs to be upstream of the cats and you can't use either of the front O2 sensor bungs.

Yes, I'm having a bung welded in by JDM when the do my Saleen SC. I'm trying to get my Aeroforce Scan gauge prewired and I'll let them do the welding.
