What gain to be expected from dyno tuning?

I just set my appt to have my car dyno tuned this friday. What gains r to be expected from the dyno tuning? I already have a 93 tune from brenspeed and I noticed one hell of a difference in the shift and the throttle response. I have a CAI, TBS, UDP's and the tune already installed so what kind of HP should I expect after the dyno? Thanks in advance for all replies.

You'll probably pick up 8-10 more over your Brenspeed tune.

I have ran Brenspeed tunes in the past and they were pretty good.

Have them do a baseline run first. That way you know.

The best thing about a dyno tune is peace-of-mind to ensure your timing and fuel tables are correct. Any additional hp is just gravy on top!

I picked up 8 on an MD Chassis dyno with no trouble.

When you get a custom tune does it erase your programmer's tune?

I'm running a brenspeed tune and a jlt intake and put down 304.5 and running rich at 10.0AFR. The tuner stated that even SCT's tunes dont run that rich. So you probably have alot of room for improvement, I just havent gotten around to tunning my car on the dyno yet :x

If you get a dyno tune or even a emailorder cutom tune, it does occupy one of the 3 spaces on your tuner. If all 3 are full, you'll have to overwrite one of them.

That's really rich. Are you eventually going to get it dyno tuned?

Yeah by april I'll have her tuned before I go all over the eastern seaboard for C schools and then head to georgia for my next duty station.

Speaking of tuning, what is the consensus regarding measuring AFR on a dyno downstream of the cats? I suspect that is what most people are doing but it has been my impression that the readings are not accurate because of the chemical changes the exhaust gases undergo as they pass through the cats.

It was either a Bama or a Brenspeed. I don't remember what I had loaded at the time.
