Are the V6's electronic throttle? Do we have electronic throttle's? I don't see a cable.
Thanks.

The pedal has a circuit board that sends a signal via the PCM to the throttle body actuator. There are no cables anymore.

I'm pretty sure the drive by wire system is what causes the throttle lag s197's seem to have.

The circuit board is exactly like a pot, aka volume control on your radio.

That's exactly why. Mine was so bad that I replaced the pedal.

Can the dealer do that? Where did you go/What exactly did you have done? My dad suggested I have the dealer try and fix the throttle cables, then I told him it was drive-by-wire and he wanted to know if anything could still be done.

Wait you replaced the pedal to fix this? I thought this was irreversable and can slightly be helped with a tune.

There are potentially 2 problems, one can be fixed via the tune, and this link is the other, I think Mark replaced the board assembly rather than doing this diy job.
