how many cid/liters is that motor? is it an alum block? and what's your predicted h.p. when complete? any ballpark on 1/4 mile times?..think that's enuf ???'s for now! lol!
300 cubic inches, although I'm going to be a posuer and put on 302 badging. Iron 04 Cobra block. Once I get it all dialed in with high boost (20+ psi) I think I'll be well over 700 RWHP, although I'll reach that figure in stages. I'll most likely start out at 12 psi. Ballpark quarter mile, 10.xx, again, once I get to 20+ psi.

The big unknown at this time is the tune. I'm creating my own tunes from scratch, something I've never done. So, yeah, that could be an obstacle. I have the tools, we'll see if I have the ability soon enough.

You are using that "sniper" program to make your own tunes on the computer correct?
I saw a video of some guys using that to make a tune for a Twin Turbo Ford GT. They were really scared about messing it up, but if you take your time and plug in all the data there should be no problems.
Are you going to dyno her once you get this tune to get the car running?

I'm using Sniper Special Forces to create the tune and Sniper Commando to dial it in. I've heard a lot of people who are very happy with the software. I'll see soon enough.
Yeah, once I get it running well I'll put her on a dyno. I'm not at all one of those into dyno numbers but I do think it's important to at least know the ballpark you are in.

With the widebands you'll be able to do some decent street tuning.
wow, Im just sitting here amazed at how far you have come! Honestly, this is a total transformation and prolly needs to be posted into a magazine when your done. I dont think there is anyone else who has done what your doing to the S197, and its pretty awesome!
