2008 Mustang GT...Should I install new spark plugs and if yes, which ones are best? I am taking my
Stang to my dealership to have some warranty work done on it and my UDP's installed. Should I go ahead and upgrade my spark plugs? Or if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Second, which spark plugs have you all found to be the absolute best? Iridium?

No need for new plugs rightnow if it's not misfiring.
I think most people N/A go with the autolite HT1's(one heat range colder) when they swap.

Agree. The stockers are fine. When you do change, the HT1s are best for a N/A application.

I thought the HT1's were the stocker's. If not, what comes stock?

HT1 are the stock plugs. HT0 are for forced injection and nitrous.

The stock plugs are Motorcraft. HTs are Autolite. Same design and same heat range.

Your performance plug is the HT0, but is not needed on N/A. One heat range colder, and as others had stated, is meant for FI, Turbo, or Nos. If you wanted to upgrade that area I would consider:
Granatelli Coil on Plug Connection Kit [28-1812S] - $205.00 from Modern Speed Machines

I like the performance now...it's just usually the aftermarket stuff squeezes more energy outta the engine!

Just went to the site, those COP's (Coil On Plug)
Adds 12HP (normally aspirated) & 25HP (s/c, turbo, & nitrous)
I'd like to see a dyno chart for that claim.....

We went through this on the Marauder boards... and it was disproved by a couple of members.
And no, I'm not looking up the links, 'cos I'm a Mustang owner now
