Default Hood Pins (Again -Sorry) need help

Ok I know this is a "beating of the dead hourse" topic, but I need some help. So those of you wh have done hood pins please offer up some advice.

I want to put hood pins on my 07 GT, but I'm not sure of the placement. Could someone PLEASE post up on how they did it? And with that if you could post pictures.

If someone could do a thread on Hid pins and install maybe it could become a sticky...hint hint

Thanks

Just wondering Booger...If you have the wires on the hood pins...Where does the end not attached to the hood secured?

I had my hood pins installed where the factory rubber hood stops are. I removed the rubber stoppers, then dropped the front clip (inlcuding headlights), then drilled a hole in each side of the underneath side of the radiator support, installed the hood pins, made necessary adjustments and tightened bolts. I then drilled out the rubber stoppers to reinsert back over the hood pins. Drilled the hood and there you go...hood pins at the corners.

See pics in gallery

On mine they thread through the face of the grille and attach to the radiator support with a couple of sheet metal screws.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

I think mine are like myltlpony's pins

Very easy install, considering my hood came with the assembly already installed, lol. All I had to do was add the pins.

No wires on mine. The pin is contained in the mount to keep from losing it.

I had to make the brackets. Made it from a piece of aluminum. If I remember they are 3" wide by 4" or 5" long. Just drilled 2 holes to use the bolts holding the radiator hold down to the rad support.

I like the way Stoenr did his too. Easy way to mount the pin using the hole already there in the radiator cover.
