Im sure some of you that get the SPEED channel love to watch PINKS. They are having the PINKS all out episode at Englishtown New Jersey this year and i was wondering if anyone here made the top 400. I know i did. Should be fun.
Just for anyone that doesnt know PINKS all out is the episode where they race for 10g's, not cars. They take 400 cars and take the 16 cars closest in time to do a bracket race for 10 grand.

+1 on that! I dont understand how people will do that.. especially under presure- things go wrong.. I saw a guy, he raced at my track.. He refused to ask for lengths, he wanted to race heads up everytime. He said, "If i ask for lengths n win, what am i proving".. well needless to say- he lost all three races and his ride.. stupid people.. He didnt wanna swallow his pride- so he lost a 1400hp car..

Pinks All Out is okay to watch. But I don't like the regular Pinks. The whole "race for your pink slip" business only existed back in the fifties when the cars being raced were cobbled from junkers and weren't worth much. If you lost you were embarrassed to be on foot, but you weren't out a lot of money. I'll admit to possibly street racing my SS396 Chevelle in the early '70s, but even back then we never raced for car titles.

Ya the sandbagging is the worst on the regular show. All Out is way better. The original show would be cooler if they were racing their daily drivers or cars they race with every weekend, not race cars built specifically for the show like most of the cars on that show.

i think i saw that episode i think one was a vett and the other guy has a green chevell both of them were rockets.... was the english town episode already recorded??? ill have to watch

Yeah, it was a old red vette.. after one of the runs, it had a minor fire..
