Default Color coordinated dash

I did a search and couldn't find anything helpful in this topic, but does anybody know if there is a way to change the color of the radio and a/c knobs and all of that stuff from green to lets say a more neutral color, like white? I wouldn't mind blue or red either. I love playing with the my lights and ambient lighting, but I hate that they never match with those, and since red is one of my favorite colors for the lights I hate that it looks like a christmas tree with those lights. I don't want to make it change colors like the dash witha push of a button, I just want to do a one time thing and get a more neutral, or better looking color. I also think that its retarded that the ambient lights don't have green so I can't get the entire interior one color with them on.

No you would have to break apart the dash and change the actual lights inside. That I have no clue what lights you would need or how hard it would be

Hahaha good luck with that!

We replaced the bulbs in my brothers Tundra with white ones because he was tired of the green. It was funny because the stock bulbs had these little green condoms on them.

Seems that the mustangs only use LEDs though.

Good find! How hard can this be? Soldering is just like welding... right?

If you dont know how to solder beforehand, I don't recommend taking your car apart and trying this.

You can ruin parts of the circuit board you're working on if you hold the iron on a part too long trying to get it off. You can also ruin the LED's you're working on with too much heat. It takes a degree of skill to solder well.

Thanks belial, it does look a little harder than I thought. I know how to solder, and do all of that, I just do not want to rip apart my dash. I am going to try it in the future though, one day when I get really bored.
