Default 2005-2008 Mustang Seat Belt helper

In the later s197 mustang years the seat has a thing coming off the headrest that makes it to where you don't have to reach so far back to grab the seatbelt. I can't find where to buy them anywhere online. I'm used to reaching and grabbing it myself but my passengers struggle occasionally. I was wondering if anyone knew what the heck i'm talking about or where to get one. My brother's 08 has them but i wasn't so fortunate.

I know the lil thingy you'er talkin about. It's on my drivers side to keep the seatbelt closer to get on and located down where it pivots. I dont know if its because its on the drivers side or just comes w/h the lthr power seat. If so it might be on ones with the passenger power seat as well. Looks like you could fab one pretty easilly, just not sure what to make it with so it wouldn't look red-neck made. Small piece of blk elastic maybe... See what the others say. I do think it is a good idea, less you have back seat passengers, because it is designed to make them do a "face plant" when they trip on it, wonder how I know that...

haha people refuse to ride in my back seat anyway!! I saw a guy do a back seat delete on his car, kind of a throw back. It was pretty cool, I can't say I wasn't jealous of the coolness. Maybe I could talk my professor into letting me 3D model one and use our plastic injection molding machine to make it.

I don't know if it's against the rules to bump, but I'd really like to move my seatbelt into a reachable area.

I'm talking about the thing that goes to the driver's shoulder from the B pillar. it comes from the same thing the shoulder strap comes from and reaches to the shoulder.

I see them now, thanks. Maybe you can check for them at the Ford Dealer in your area? They might have to be ordered.

Yeah that's looking like the only option. Thanks for the help.

so it turns out you have to get the whole seat belt assembly, and it's about 550 bucks in parts for both sides. I'm thinking reaching back for a seat belt isn't that bad anymore.

I'm sure you can find something to go on to one head rest poles from like an escort or something. Check out auto wreckers or wal-mart and stuff like that you might find an idea

If you are talking about the plastic loops that bolt under the headrest and the seat belts go through I jusy replaced my seats and have the ones on the old seats

So just go to a junk yard an yank one off an older mustang or escort? That doesn't sound too hard.
