Cool Boom Tubes or SLP Loudmouths

its probably been asked and answered but i cant find the thread. SLP Loudmouths or Boom Tubes for a completely stock 07 mustang gt? ive seen videos of both and i cant make up my mind. eventually ill have an offroad x/h pipe but for now its just the axelback. opinions? votes? i think they both sound great from the videos ive seen and the price difference is about $30.

It's a debate that will go on forever, like "Where is Jimmy Hoffa is buried?"... some say Giants Stadium, others say the swamps of the Meadowlands.....

I personally have Boomtubes and l-o-v-e them. Before and after videos...

Off Road H with slps is rediculously loud. I had it for about 3 months and took off the slps for a set of magnaflows that are too quite. Now i want to try something else

That is a very true statements but I wouldn't count on the boom tubes being much quieter.

Boomtubes with stock set up aren't obnoxiously, extremely, nutty, loud... they're just right. I wouldn't be able to get around towns here if they weren't... They're awesome - get 'em... you won't regret it. Off-road pipes - different story.

Boom tubes are not overly loud. They are just right. They are in my opinion much more refined than the SLP's. They are aggressive but not obnoxious.

+1 for boom tube because they are not empty mufflers they are really deep and not agressive.
The welding are not very good but the look is awesome for a good price.
Here some pictures

Do the Boom tubes require a tune or are they plug n play? What about passing emission testing? Since I live on the Texas coast we have the full meal deal on vehicle inspections.

boom tubes dont require tunes from what i know unless u have a offroad pipe then u would need a tuner to fix the check engine light. correct me if im wrong guys. as for the emissions i dont know. i think cali is more strict on car laws compared to anywhere else

I don't know if the stovk mufflers have some filters inside for the pollution if not the boom tube will be the same because you only the change the mufflers. Th catalitic mufflers and o2 sensor are stock.
The boom tube are very easy to install you just need to cut a litlle bit have a look at the pictures.
