Default What kind of transmission
Just wondering what kind of transmission i have in my car its a 2005 GT manual trans

2005 GT Redfire, red leather, interior upgrade package, shaker 1000,FRPP hot rod cams, JLT 2 CAI 91 octane tune, MAC axlebacks, eibach prolines, ford racing strut brace, 20" chrome eagle rims CDC classic chin spoiler, FRPP 4:10 gears, MGW shifter.

I would imagine there is a Ford expert within this Forum with a more definitive answer, but I would venture a guess that it is a Ford Manual transmission for a GT.

Ford hasn't put a Ford manual transmission in the Mustang GT since I don't know when. They went to the Borg-warner 5-speed in the early '80's. They had a 4-speed in it before that. Don't know what the make of the 4-speed was though.
