They did an install of a system very similar to this one on a Vette on the tv show HorsePower. It performs very well and they said that you only lose maybe 1 psi because of the travel; hardly noticeable.
I actually saw one at the shop where I had my car tuned last week. I believe the tuner said the car was making well over 500hp, probably more. He had so many insanely high hp cars there that I couldn't keep track. It's very discreet too; I didn't even know it had a turbo until I looked under the rear of the car.
One other factor I read/heard about this setup is that pushing the charged/pressurized air forward from the rear for that distance acts as somewhat as an intercooler. The temperature of the charged air drop significantly by the time it hits the intake. I can see some cool aspects of it. I'd be somewhat concerned about having that expensive hardware dangling around under the backside. Water, rocks and thieves, oh my....
I also saw the Corvette install which looked like a nightmare of tubing but looked great on the car.Twin turbos may be to eliminate the old turbo lag of old days.Had one on 1963 Corvair which was lots of fun.

nope i would never buy that kit its just me though ....... and no problem bud i should have it installed by the end of next week so i'll post a crapload of pics by the first week or so of september lol and hopefully i'll have my dyno tune done also so i'll definatly post some new track times me,forensicsteve, kenneth, and 05-kb-supercharged ( i think thats how his name is ) are all going to the track on the 5th of september so any other local fella's are welcome to come ........then we can just straight up smoke every1 from every diffrent way
I talked a sales rep there just to ask all the no brainer questions. first i asked about the filter element being behind the drive wheels- he said they had developed a special mud flap to go on, and they also include filter socks (similar to offroad/dirt bike elements to keep out the dust) that you can remove when your racing.
Then i asked about lag- all that extra pipe. he said there was minimal lag and that all that extra pipe cools the air down about 100 degrees less than any competitor's intake air temp (STS was in the 90's-100's compared to comp's 210+ degree)
but then on anothe forum a buddy said his buddy has the TT setup on his S197 and he took it off as soon as he had it on- may have been too high of expectations maybe.
it also shows a stupid list price... i am waiting for a quote from him on a complete single setup and then the works TT setup. i will post it when i get it.
I'm guessing that another handy thing about the Squire is universal installment. With all the different piping pieces that bolt together and the fact that it fits under the rear of the car, I would imagine the exact same turbo system could be installed on every car. (But maybe other turbo's are as well... I've never looked.)
I did some reading and checked numbers they are putting down. found mixed uniformed opinions so i talked to sts. felt comfortable with product so i ordered a single kit. i will post numbers and pics and my opinion on performance. These kits are on tons of vettes and work great. GM guys might be on to something i will see for myself.
