Well guys Thanks for all the great comments! I was out of town for the NMRA race (we went to the semifinals in SSO with a street car LOL). Anyways, we got down to business yesterday!!
The motor is out and we have stripped it down! The heads go out for porting tonight (guys picking them up). So here are a few pics!

Well I believe the blower is rated for 24-26lbs and we have a 10% overdrive pulley sooooo....to answer your question, everything we can get out of her!

Then I plan to spray it with good old Nitrous!

That's the real reason I pulled it.....you know I can't be running an engine with rust!!

Once I get the new engine in this one will go out for new Piston's and Rods! Then she'll get bagged up (to protect from rust)and set in a corner should I need her!

What pistons are you putting in it?

Well the one that is going in now from MMR has Ceramic Coated Manley Pistons. I asked for Diamond but they said for this application they only use a Manley. However, they added that these were not "off the shelf" pistons and I believe them. They look to be thicker then the Diamond Pistons we have.

The original stock block will get Diamond pistons that have been Polydyne coated.

The new engine has Oliver Billet rods and the old one will be getting a set also. The MMR ones are Cryo-treated and we will probably do the same to the ones going in the old stock block.
