Default Eibach Sport kit verse Pro Kit Springs

I First had the Eibach sport spring kit installed last week. I was not happy with this Kit , It was way to low, When I drove it home the car kept bouncing in the back end like a low rider . The handling sucked. and every ware I went the car would bottom out. so I took the car back And had the Eibach Pro kit installed . what a difference ,way better handling no bouncing or bottoming out, I'm Much happier now. Don't make the same mistake. get the Pro kit.
I also just bought some roush rear shocks can't wait to put then on.

Funny you bring this up. I was comparing prices and info on the Pro kit and sports kit a little while ago. Decided I would look into the pro kit, for comfortable daily driven use.

Probably the sharpest Mustang guy I know, who is a Ford employee, told me to go with the Pro set up.

I can't find a local dealer that will install. Who did you get to install yours? I am going to start a thread asking for advice in my area.

Are you dead set on having a dealer install them? There should be plenty of qualified mechanics who can do it near you. If you were in Charlotte, you'd have no problems (my fiance has done many spring installs).

It’s not a matter of one kit sucking and the other being good. All they are is springs, and therefore only do what springs do. Clearly the shocks you have on your car right now were not a good match (incorrect dampening range) for the Sport springs.

When you changed springs to the Pro kit it sounds like you got some springs that can be controlled by the shocks you currently have. Hence, they feel better.

Springs and shocks should always be purchased as a system if you intend on actually getting some performance out of them. All high end suspension manufacturers supply the correct rate springs with their shocks because they need to work together. And if you called them and tried to purchase springs from them the first thing they would ask you is what shocks you are running.

Compared to the rest of the suspension world the stuff available, and sold like hotcakes for our cars is a joke.
