It took me a little longer then intended due to the wonderful weather we have had recently here in Houston but I got my GT500 back yesterday! It was actually in the shop when the storm hit! For a little while there I was happy I got the gap insurance thinking the car had probably been totaled or drowned by Ike! Well she was safe up high on a lift and never saw a drop of rain. The only delay with getting her back.......no power at the shop!

Since several of you asked me to keep you updated I thought I'd do just that!

Strictly Performance of Houston installed the following:

Pro 5.0 shifter
Bassani X pipe
Magnaflow
3.73 gears
2.6 pulley
Metco Idler
C&L CAi intake
SCT Xcal3 and Dyno tune

The car made 540rwhp on a conservative tune (I was concerned with gas in the area for the present).

Richard did a fine job as always and I am very happy with the sound and work! I figured 540rwhp is enough to cruise around with.......for my slow car!

Thanks guys! I was pretty happy not to need the gap insurance!!! All I ended up having to do was replace two shingles on the roof! Now my company took it a little harder! Finally got back up and running yesterday!

The GT was up in North Texas getting the roll cage put in so it was safe! The only problem now is that the guy doing my heads still has no power! However, in the over all scheme of things I'd say I was pretty Lucky!!

the only problem now is I have to play dodge the telephone pole to drive it LOL!!!

To add a little variety we get to dodge these, the falling lights! It breaks up the monotony of dodging the telephone poles!

Hey, Eric. The GT would probably make even more power if you weren't on the brake during the tune. Just suggesting that you correct your signature to: 695 RWHP (on the break-in tune).
