I have heard rumors that since dodge and chevy are trumping ford with their 6+ litre engines that ford is planning to bring back it's 6.1 litre hurricane engine for production in 2009. They are also debating whether or not to make it an optional 7 litre engine as well. my thoughts are if they do bring it back they should definately make a limited production Boss 429 mustang with the 7.0 litre engine to blow camaros and challengers off the road.

I have heard similar things on the 6.1, but I have not heard about the 7 liter. That would be awesome! Has anyone heard what kind of horsepower they are going to have?

I know the 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor has the 6.1. But thats as much as I know.

I heard that the 6.1 will put out 425 horses and torque...so look out hemi
