I saw these advertised on Horsepower TV. I was wondering if anyone has installed them or even heard of them.
They look really cool. I used to run the SLP loudmouths, but got tired of how loud it was on a day to day basis. I do miss the loud sound every now and then. It would be nice to be able to flip a switch and get that sound back and then flip it back to a muffled sound.
Those are sweet. I plan on getting some of these myself. I'm for anything with a lifetime warranty. Don't see that often these days. The real benefit for me is being able to open them up at the drag strip. Often times I find myself up against someone running straight headers and I can't hear my car.

I have those exact ones on mine right now. I put them on last winter, and ran them all summer with no problems. I just checked all the bolts, wires, ect. a couple days ago and everything is just fine. They are probably my favorite thing I put on the mustang so far.

I've heard that the electronics cutouts have a tendency to fail over time.
Even if they do fail, at least you would have the lifetime warranty.

Where did you mount the switch for it? And looking at your pictures, Why would you put them before the H pipe?

I mounted the switch on the flat surface right under the e-brake handle.
I put the cutouts before the H pipe becuase the less pipe the exhaust goes through, the louder they get. And they are LOUD where I have them! Plus that is one of the few spots I could put the cutouts and have enough room for everything to fit under the car. There isn't a whole lot room for those things under our cars.

I've had those exact ones since early 2006. They were fun at the track (and in tunnels), but after about a year or so, they quit sealing well, and leaked. So, I took them off and put cover plates over the pipes.

And did the company send you replacements after yours failed to seal?
I don't have the electronic ones, but my regular cutouts scrape over things all the time since I'm lowered. I'd be too afraid that a tall speed bump or something would rip them off. But, if you're car isn't too low it shouldn't be a problem.

WTH? I ran those things on my GTO Judge back in 1970. They worked well for awhile but eventually started to leak. Also, if you run your mixture a little rich, they tend to gum up and burn up the motors. All in all, I found that dumps with bolt on covers were more reliable and almost as handy.

I haven't asked them to. Maybe I will...
