Christmas is just around the corner and it's not too early to start dropping hints to the 'ol lady. The first two items I have and found worked great on my S197, followed by a couple things I'm considering adding to my own wish list.
The very first thing I did when I got the Bullitt home was to install the MRT Hood Strut Kit. Still working great after six months. Note: If you have a fiberglass aftermarket hood some have reported the pressure from the struts creating a buldge in the hood where they attach. Stock hoods-No problems...Dump that crummy prop rod! I bought those splashguards from my dealership for $11.47. You might want to check with them. Also, I think American Muscle sells them for $19.99 (free shipping).
I plan to get those exact same quarter window louvers!
That's going to end up being a pricey little project, but I know I'll love the look in the end!
