Default Carbon fiber interior trim kits? Thoughts?

Does anyone have one of these installed? There is one over on the cjponyparts.com website. I have the black/charcoal interior, I think it would look good, as long as the quality was decent.

Any thoughts?

I've seen a few cars with them. I think it looks nice.

Personally, I'm not much for the carbon fiber look. This is one of the things I don't care much for with the Roush's.

Don't get me wrong though, if it's well done, I can appreciate it. Just not what I'd do to mine. I prefer the brushed aluminum look.

I am with JEB on this one. I am not into the carbon fiber dash. A minor gripe on a great looking car

This is another reason i want to build a semi-roush clone car out of mine.

Personally, not for me in this car but I do like clear carbon fiber in general......my motorcycle helmet is Kevlar and Carbon Fiber and looks dam cool IMO. The Carbon Fiber hoods I have seen with the silver or gold thread imbedded are, to me, just way over the top and overdone at that point.........too much bling comes to mind as an appropriate description.
If you really like it, that is what counts. Just like for me, many here don't like the Angel Eye headlights. That won't stop me from putting a set on my ride in the near future. As the old saying goes........There is a seat for every Azz.

I have the Steeda Carbon Fiber trim kit, its a bit less LOUD than the Roush CF design. THe kit comes with many pieces, anough to cover the entire interior in CF. I think the key to keep it from looking OVER DONE is to use as few peices as possible.

I covered my Center console and shifter area, i excluded covering the Radio, the doors, light switch and a few other pieces. I think it looks great because it minimal and breaks up the monotone of Hard Charcoal plastic in the interior.

The Roush set includes covers for the Airbag/Vent section, when these are applied its just TOO MUCH CF but the quality of the Roush kit is superior but..

Roush = $500
Steeda = $150

Also, the 3m glue kinda sux, ive had the kit on for 5 months and the glue does not hold well anymore, i have to figure out what to use to re-apply at some point.

Check my pics and you will see the Carbon Fiber in the interior pix.
