I realize this is sort of an old thread but the TCI ratchet shifer has been available to the public for several months now. I paid $360 for mine a couple of months ago directly from TCI. It is a very easy straight forward install and takes about an hour and a half including jacking and unjacking the car. It works just as advertised and makes down shifting in traffic a breeze, and upshifting is simple because you don't have to look at the indicator plate. The OD lockout is on the indicator plate above the Park position, but I would rather have it in the handle like the stock one where it is more convienient, but you can't have everything I guess. |
