Hello all. I have seen several threads recently of some very shady internet stores that have hosed and continue to hose members of this and other forums. With the economy the way it is, I personally find it hard to fathom how these vendors can even consider some of their crappy business practices. I know that where I work, we basically dropped our shorts just to keep an important customer for next year which we consider a survival year.
Well, there is always an opposite side to every coin and we have some very good vendors that are very accessible right on this site. I guess it kindof reinforces the fact that if you shop "here at home" so to speak you will likely get better service and good products for your money.
I received an order last night from American Muscle that was packaged very well with no signs of damage. One of the items was a magnetic blackout panel and when I unwrapped and unrolled the panel, I noticed a long brown scuff mark from the center cutout out to one of the corners. I couldn't rub it off so I just got on here and sent Nick a private message describing my issue.
By the time I got home today, he had sent me an RMA and shipping label and had shipped a replacement out to me. He took my word for my problem, facilitated the return of the defective product, and sent out a replacement BEFORE he got the returned product. I know there wasn't a lot of money involved but compared to some of the stories I have heard here recently, I was impressed and reassured that I am doing business with a reputable company.
In a time when I am not spending lots of money on what is basically a toy, it is actions like this that ensure that what money I do decide to spend goes to our forum sponsors like American Muscle.
Thanks Nick for your help on what was really a "minor" issue that I was willing to resolve in a more sedate manor.
+1 American Muscle can't be beat for their prices, free shipping and customer service. Thats the first place I go when I'm looking for a new mod. AM can't be beat!

I had purchased headlight bulbs from American Muscle. The description claimed they were "pure white". When I installed them I felt they were clearly BLUE. I went back and forth with American Muscle via email explaining my dilemma and in the end they refunded my money. Good place. I continue to deal with them.
heard a lot of good stuff about American muscle from here and more friends in the car club out here. when i am back to modding the mustang, i will be buying parts from AM
