the side emblems are just held on by double sided tape correct? im almost positive that they are but i just want to be sure before i go taking them off. THanks for any help
They are but there are like two hole with pins through them. At least that is how it was on my friends 2005. So when you get them off there will be a couple of holes in the fender. He ended up putting his back on.

there are two holes...when I installed them, I had to drill two holes for it to fit the two bars that were on the emblem.

I knew of this problem before I got mine, and told the dealership if I had any badges or dealer decals then I would go somewhere else. Now my fenders are hole free!!

Ford has to put the pins and holes on new cars as an aid to keep them aligned. can you imagine one mustang with the emblem stuck in one place and then seeing another car with it in a different location.

Alright thanks for all the advice i am just going to start looking at new emblems to go over the pin holes probably the 4.0 or just paint the ones i have as red white and black instead of blue and red.
